What is your connection to Carolina? How long have you known each other?

My connection with Carolina runs very deep. We met over 20 years ago, yet it feels as though we've known each other for many lifetimes.

There is a strong bond between us - build on love, mutual respect, and a constant desire to support and uplift one another.

Tell us more about Plant The Future.

Plant the Future is a biophilic art and design studio founded in 2008 by myself and my partner, Yair Marcoschamer. Located in Little River, it began as a gallery space with a mission to create art, objects, and environments that reconnect people with their natural love for nature.

Today, it has evolved into a creative hub where plants and nature meet contemporary design, bringing together artists and designers from around the world while blending innovation with artisanal techniques.

We've also opened a café within the space, set inside a converted 1960s gas station, welcoming the community to visit, connect, and enjoy something to sip while experiencing the environment.

How has your Argentinian heritage influenced the way you think, create, and lead today?

Growing up in Córdoba, surrounded by so much greenery, allowed me to develop a deep connection with nature and be shaped by it. That relationship, learning to discover, listen, and respond to the natural world, is something I carry into my work today. I feel very privileged to have had that experience and to be able to share it through what I do.

Please list two things you miss the most about Argentina.

I miss the vast extensions of land without human intervention, the quiet, the stillness of nature, and the rivers. I also miss the informality of friendships, that ease where people can simply show up at your door. There's a sense of closeness and spontaneity in that which feels very special.

What impact do you hope your work has on your community, your industry, or even other women?

When creating Plant the Future, I wanted to create a space where women can feel free, come together and evolve - building a community rooted in connection, creativity, and growth.

Nature is our only future, and plants give us everything - oxygen, nourishment, life. They have existed for millions of years before us, carrying wisdom far beyond our own.

My vision is to connect people with plants and their soul, bringing nature and well-being into everyday life.

Who is the person that inspired you the most?

Jane Goodall, because of her lifelong commitment to being in service of nature.

How does fashion play a role in how you express yourself or show up professionaly? How has Carolina connected to your fashion taste?

For me, fashion is something I wear to better understand who I am - it's a way to connect with my own soul and express that intention outward.

I'm drawn to natural materials like cotton, silk, and other fibers that feel alive and honest. This is something I deeply appreciate about Carolina's work - her commitment to these materials and to honoring the hands of the people who create each piece.

There is a sense of care and energy in everything she makes, and that intention is something you can truly feel when you wear it.
