Position: Sales Associate (Miami based)

We are seeking a part-time Sales Associate for our Miami Design District flagship store. This individual is bright, enthusiastic, hard-working and wants to join our growing Carolina K team. If you're motivated with a diligent attitude and share a passion for practices that go beyond sustainability, we'd love to meet you.

The ideal candidate will possess strong sales, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills. They should be comfortable with multitasking and being able to budget their resources to meet the assigned responsibilities for their role.

Duties + Responsibilities

  • Individual will be responsible for day-to-day tasks, such as assisting customers with anything they need, sales transactions, processing refunds/exchanges, opening & closing the store.
  • Build a client list to increase sales and create a VIP experiences for customers
  • Reach out to Miami stylists & manage VIP relationships with influencers
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store at all times
  • Utilize sales data to maximize and develop new sales strategies with the Sales/Marketing team
  • Assist with weekly inventory counts
  • Participate in visual merchandising of the space
  • Manage all guest brands that participate in Carolina's curation carried on our shop.
  • Work with our Marketing team to plan, organize, and host in-store events
  • Work on daily & weekly sales reports for the team

Skills + Qualifications

  • Prior 2 years experience in retail or sales
  • Proficient with Shopify POS
  • Must be fluent in Enlgihs & Spanish
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge and passion for fashion, homewares, and the Carolina K brand
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environemnt
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be available on weekeneds and flexibility to work on holidays

Position: Senior Designer/Product Development Lead (Miami based)

We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Senior Designer with strong product development expertise to join our growing team in Miami. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who can design and develop collections across ready-to-wear, swimwear, home, and accessories while driving innovation, quality, sustainability, and commercial success.

The ideal candidate has a refinded aesthetic, deep product knowledge, strong sourcing and factoty relationships, and proven experience managing timelines from concept through final production. This person must thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and be passionate about responsible practices, craftsmanship, and detail.

Duties + Responsibilities

  • Lead design and product development across ready-to-wear, swimwear, home, and accessory categories
  • Translate brand vision into commercially strong seasonal collections aligned with company growth objectives
  • Use sustainability as a core design and development tool, intergrating responsible materials, mindful production methods, and long-term product thinking
  • Partner with artisan communities and specilized makers in the creation of ready-to-wear, home, and accessory collections
  • Research market trends, customer needs, competitor landscape, and category opportunities to inform product direction
  • Collaborate closely with internal design, sales, merchandising, and production teams to ensure timely execution of all collections
  • Build and manage develpment calendars to guarantee deadlines are met from concept to delivery
  • Oversee fittings, fabric development, trims, print execution, color approvals, and product refinement
  • Maintain excpetional quality standards with strong attention to fit, finish, construction, and detail
  • Work directly with domestic and international factories that operate under responsible and ethical practices
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and propose solutions while protectin design integrity and margin goals
  • Support direct-to-consumer growth strategy through exclusive capsuls, fast-turn opportunities, and product drops tailored to online demand.

Skills + Qualifications

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in fashion desgin and product development
  • Prior experience with a like-minded premium, lifestyle, resort, contemporary, or sustainability-driven brand
  • Strong experience across multiple categories including ready-to-wear, swimwear, home, and accessories
  • Proven understanding of sourcing, factory management, costing, timelines, and production processes
  • Strong knowledge of sustainable materials and responsible manufacturing practices
  • Experience collaborating with artisan techniues, handcrafted product, embroidery, weaving, or heritage craft is highly valued
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility with commercial awareness
  • Hihgly detail-oriented with elevated quality standards
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
  • Based in Miami, or willing to relocate.

Position: Assistant Designer (Miami based)

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Assistant Designer to support our design and product development teams across Ready-to-Wear, swim, homeware, and accessories. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and brand storytelling.

Duties + Responsibilities

  • Support artwork and print development for RTW, swim, and homeware.
  • Assist in designing products across all categories following brand vision.
  • Help prepare and organize tech packs, patterns, and production files.
  • Participate in fittings and sampling; communicate updates with factories.
  • Assist with material sourcing and new factory scouting.
  • Support photoshoot production, including scouting and on-set assistance.
  • Research seasonal trends and contribute ideas for collection development.
  • Maintain measurement/size libraries and ensure sample quality standards.
  • Assist with showroom tasks, shipping/receiving, and occasional retail support.
  • Travel for factory visits, artisan research, and brand-related needs.
  • Provide general support to the CEO and design/production teams as needed.

Skills + Qualifications

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in fashion design, product development, or related field
  • Fashion design degree or equivalent training preferred but not required
  • Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and production processes
  • Proficiency in managing tech packs, patterns, and spec sheets
  • Understanding of trend research and seasonal development
  • Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with global manufacturers and artisan cooperatives
  • Spanish fluency strongly preferred; knowledge of Portuguese or Hindi is a plus
  • Passion for craftsmanship, sustainability, and ethical production
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed for on-site development and production follow-ups
