Please read these policies carefully prior to placing your order. If you place an order, you are thereby agreeing to abide by these policies.

ORDER PROCESSING

We kindly encourage U.S. customers to select signature required for delivery during checkout to prevent items being lost in transit or incorrectly marked as delivered.  As a small business Carolina K is unable to absorb the costs of items being lost in transit or offer refunds towards items that are marked as delivered with a tracking number and a customer states to have not received. For signature required for delivery please choose the Standard Delivery with Signature Required at Delivery option in Shipping Method.

All orders placed Monday – Friday (excluding holidays and weekends) before 1pm EST will begin processing that day and will ship within 72 hours pending availability and credit verification. Orders placed after 1pm EST, including the ones placed Saturday - Sunday will begin processing the next business day and will ship within 72 hours pending availability and credit verification. Transit times do not include Saturday, Sunday or holidays. 

We do not ship to P.O. Box's.

**Please allow an extra three business days for your order to be processed during Sale Promotions.

If a package is lost, stolen or damaged in shipment a claim needs to be filed with the shipping service provider used and not with Carolina K.  If a package shows that it has been delivered through the tracking number and the customer is unable to locate their package, Carolina K is not responsible and will not issue a refund or store credit.

CURBSIDE PICK-UP

Curbside Pick-up is now available in Miami, FL!

Select Pick-Up as Delivery Method.

All orders placed Monday - Friday (excluding holidays) before 1pm EST will be ready for curbside pick-up within 24 hours. All orders placed Friday after 1pm EST through Sunday will start processing on the next business day and will be ready for curbside pick-up within 24 hours.

You will be notified via email when it is ready for pick-up with instructions. Please do not arrive to pick-up until you've received your pick-up confirmation via email.

ITEM AVAILABILITY
If the item you ordered is out of stock or waiting to be restocked, you will receive an email from us. This email will provide you with the option to cancel the order or to request email notification when the merchandise is available again for sale. In case of incomplete delivery, only the goods delivered will be charged. 

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

All domestic orders are shipped via Fedex Ground, Monday - Friday, excluding holidays. Orders received on weekend days, holidays and after 1pm EST will begin processing the next business day and will ship within 48 hours. You will receive a shipping notification via email once your order has been processed. Carolina K is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages once shipped, as well as any delays in shipping or delivery due to force of nature or other uncontrollable events.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

All international orders are shipped via FedEx, Monday - Friday, excluding holidays. Orders received on weekend days, holidays and after 1pm EST will begin processing the next business day and will ship within 48 hours. You will receive a shipping notification via email once your order has been processed. Carolina K is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages once shipped, as well as any delay in shipping or delivery due to force of nature or other uncontrollable events. 

Once Carolina K has delivered the merchandise to the carrier, you will assume the risk of loss and title for the merchandise. Carolina K is not responsible for any fees charged by customs. You are responsible for any additional taxes and duties. 

If you decide to refuse any shipments from Carolina K, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to Carolina K. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund.

Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. International customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

PRE-ORDERS

Please note when placing an order with a pre-order or a made-to-order item. All items in the order will be shipped together, unless the item(s) we have in stock are ready to wear. For example: If you placed an order with ready to ship ceramics as well as made-to-order ceramics, your entire order will ship within the made-to-order time period. But if for example: You placed an order with made-to-order ceramics as well as clothing, then your clothing item(s) will ship within regular processing time and the ceramics will ship within the made-to-order time period. 

TRACKING YOUR ORDER
You will receive a shipping confirmation e-mail once your order has been shipped. This confirmation will include the tracking number for your package. Depending on the firewall settings of your personal computer, shipping confirmations may be automatically stored in your Spam/Junk mail folder. Please be advised that once an order has been placed we are unable to make any modifications to the order including cancellations.

DELIVERY FAILURE  If an order is returned due to the customer’s failure to accept the package, it is the customer's responsibility to contact Carolina K within 14 days of the last attempted delivery in order to receive a partial refund. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from the order, as well as a restocking fee that is dependent on the number of items in the order. Carolina K is not responsible for returned packages due to the customer’s failure to accept delivery.
