This item was hand-knitted in Uruguay by Manos del Uruguay, a non-profit organization established in 1968 in support of working women. A cooperative of female artisans meticulously handcraft garments using natural dyes - any variation found should be treasured as each piece is one-of-a-kind. Carolina carries a personal connection to the community in Uruguay, as she spent summers there growing up. Produced under fair trade regulations, this piece took 10 to 15 days to create.
