Position: Account Executive - Wholesale (Miami based)

We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Account Executive to join our growing wholesale team. This role will focus on developing new business opportunities and expanding the brand's global wholesale presence, working closely with the Wholesale Director to identify, cultivate, and secure new retail partnerships.

The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with strong industry relationships and a passion for building brands in the women's contemporary apparel space. The candidate MUST have established relationships with major/key accounts in the women's apparel market. This role is not territory-specific and requires a candidate comfortable working across markets to grow the Carolina K wholesale network.

Duties + Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new wholesale accounts across specialty retail, department stores, and e-commerce partners
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and key industry contacts
  • Partner closely with the Wholesale Director to execute sales strategies and support seasonal market appointments
  • Represent the brand at major trade shows, showroom appointments, and market weeks
  • Conduct outreach and sales presentations to prosective accounts
  • Maintain knowledge of the Carolina K collections and communicate product stories and brand position to buyers
  • Track sales performance, account activity, and pipeline development
  • Support order writing, account follow-up, and coordination with internal teams to ensure successful delivery and sell-through
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through reorders and expanded assortments

Skills + Qualifications

  • Must have 5+ years wholesale sales experience in a similar, senior-level role, in the Apparel/Accessory business
  • Proven ability to open and develop new accounts
  • Established relationships within the contemporary retail market preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Willingness to travel for market appointmnets and trade shows as needed
  • Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office and JOOR.

Position: Assistant Designer (Miami based)

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Assistant Designer to support our design and product development teams across Ready-to-Wear, swim, homeware, and accessories. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and brand storytelling.

Duties + Responsibilities

  • Support artwork and print development for RTW, swim, and homeware.
  • Assist in designing products across all categories following brand vision.
  • Help prepare and organize tech packs, patterns, and production files.
  • Participate in fittings and sampling; communicate updates with factories.
  • Assist with material sourcing and new factory scouting.
  • Support photoshoot production, including scouting and on-set assistance.
  • Research seasonal trends and contribute ideas for collection development.
  • Maintain measurement/size libraries and ensure sample quality standards.
  • Assist with showroom tasks, shipping/receiving, and occasional retail support.
  • Travel for factory visits, artisan research, and brand-related needs.
  • Provide general support to the CEO and design/production teams as needed.

Skills + Qualifications

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in fashion design, product development, or related field
  • Fashion design degree or equivalent training preferred but not required
  • Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and production processes
  • Proficiency in managing tech packs, patterns, and spec sheets
  • Understanding of trend research and seasonal development
  • Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with global manufacturers and artisan cooperatives
  • Spanish fluency strongly preferred; knowledge of Portuguese or Hindi is a plus
  • Passion for craftsmanship, sustainability, and ethical production
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed for on-site development and production follow-ups
